Obituary for Charlene Jarrett Hanley
Charlene “Punkie” Jarrett Hanley, also known as “Charlie” 57, of South Pekin passed away on Tuesday July 7, 2009 at her residence. Born to Walter and Shirley Lenox Jarrett on May 7, 1952 in Loma Linda, CA. She is survived by her husband David Hanley, children; Christine Ann (Orren) Rockhold, April (Ray) Bonilla, Jennifer (Rodney) Lee, Jamie (Josh) Heidbrink, Crystal Tilka, Christopher Tilka Jr., sisters; Kathlene Roach and Leyden Kay (John) Adams both of South Pekin, her 11 grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Charlene worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Amy’s Country Manor for the last 9 years, last working June 3, 2009. She was a lover of animals and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Thursday July 9, at 3 p.m. at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall 2726 Broadway Rd. Pekin. Elder Addison Abernathy will officiate. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
