Obituary for Cecilia Allen
Cecilia Ann Allen, 87, of Morton passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born July 27, 1930 in Canton to Michael and Catherine Tadejvic Sepich. She married Fred Allen; he preceded her in death in 2002. Her parents and brothers, William Sepich and James Sepich also preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Dana (Diana) Oaks; daughter, Leigh Ann (Joe) Molohon; grandchildren, Ryan (Crystal) Molohon, Katie (Nick) Hess; great-grandson, Mason Nicholas Hess; brother, Father Larry Sepich; aunt, Helen Frey and many nieces and nephews. Cecilia worked for Caterpillar and was a member of Caterpillar Ladies. She was also a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She loved sewing, quilting and watching Dancing with The Stars. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her monthly book club. She volunteered for Alzheimer’s. Cecilia was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial mass and celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice in her name.
