Obituary for Carol K. Loser
Carol K. Loser, 81, of Chillicothe passed away Thursday, December 29, 2020 at Heritage Manor in Chillicothe.
She was born December 24, 1939 in Peoria to James and Stella Wilcox Osburn.
She married Calvin Loser; he preceded her in death in 2004. Her parents and three sisters also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Lesley) Loser; grandchildren, Erica Sams, Jennifer Gardner, Katie Krus, Tony (Amber) Loser and many great-grandchildren.
Carol worked as a loan officer retiring in 2008.
Carol loved her family and friends. She also loved participating in community events. She was a past member of Altrusa and was a member of the American Legion Post 9 Auxiliary and Post 4999 VFW Auxiliary. She was an honorary member of the Chillicothe Sportsmen’s Club.
Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at VFW Post 4999 1729 N. Santa Fe Ave., Chillicothe, IL 61523.
