Obituary for Byron Douglas Schilling
Byron Douglas Schilling born April 14th 1942 passed away peacefully on Friday February 12th 2021 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home. He was 78 years old.
Originally from Minneapolis/St Paul he relocated to Peoria in the late 1960’s. He worked and ultimately retired from Caterpillar after 40+ years.
He was a lover of music and nostalgic movies, and he often entertained family, friends and coworkers with his music/movies/trivia.
He is survived in death by his three daughters, Patricia Wheat, Jessica Jones, and Anna Parks, as well as 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A private celebration of life will be held when it is safe for family and friends to gather.
