Obituary for Billie J. Bayer
Billie J. Bayer, 72, of Pekin passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at UnityPoint Health Pekin.
She was born October 22, 1948 to Phillip and Virginia Schaffrin Bayer. Her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Craig (Jennifer) Whitlatch, Carl Whitlatch, Edward (Josh) Stanek; grandchildren, Shannon Marie Thomas, Samantha Copus, Stephanie Whitlatch, Robert Whitlatch, Kethry Whitlatch; four great-grandchildren and siblings, Gary Bayer, Phylis Bailey and Dale Bayer.
Billie worked as an activity’s director for a nursing home until retiring in 2011.
She loved her family, and she was dedicated to helping the elderly and those who were handicapped. Billie had a great sense of humor and enjoyed kidding around and joking. She loved her cats and dogs.
Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held.
