Obituary for Billie Gene Pierson
Billie Gene Pierson, 85 of Bellevue passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Farmington Country Manor.
He was born July 28, 1935 in Kirksville, MO to Fred and Gladys Hamilton Pierson.
He married Johanna “Sugar” Clara Whitby October 17, 1953 in Peoria; she preceded him in death November 3, 2018. His parents also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Barbara Kellington, Brent (Melody) Pierson, Greg (Sherry) Pierson; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and siblings, Pat Johnson, and Hugh (Janice) Pierson.
Billie worked for Caterpillar retiring in 1988. He was one of the founding members of the Slowpokes car club. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his name.
