Obituary for Dorothy Daugherty
Dorothy Ann Daugherty, 71, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born August 9, 1946 in Lincoln to Cecil Willard and Dorothy Winona Kefso Daugherty. Her parents; daughter, Rhonda Gail-Yost; granddaughter, Kendal Gail and sister, Shirley Daugherty preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Brenda “Binky” (David Weber) Yost-Weber; grandsons, Ryan (Kayla) Clemons, Brandon Clemons, Robert Justin (Jennifer) Yost; great-granddaughters, Kelsie Kay Clemons, Isabella Yost and her significant other of 42 years, John Fardel. Dorothy worked as the IT Administrator for Rohn Manufacturing and later as the CEO Assistant for Enercon. She was an avid gardener and she enjoyed her flowers, reading, exercising and crafts. She was a wonderful cook and loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. Per her wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
