Obituary for Jerome Edward Waters
Jerome Edward Waters, 63, of Peoria passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Carle Health Methodist in Peoria.
He was born on December 19, 1961, in Lacon to William James and Mary Virginia Hieronymus Waters. His parents; brothers, Jeff Waters, William James Waters Jr., and great-granddaughter, Addison Waters preceded him in death.
Jerome is survived by his children, Buddy “Domonik” (Amanda) Waters, Michael (Savanah) Waters; grandchildren, Koltin, Hunter, Aspen, Gauge, Drake, Dawson, Angel, Ashlynn, Ashton, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Blakleigh, Ranger, Serena and siblings, Janice (late, David) McMillan, Mary Jo Waters and June (late, Michael) King.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Matcor Metal Fabrication until 2023.
Jerome loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren. He also loved riding his Harley and collecting Harley memorabilia and anything that was related to Harley, models and Hot Wheels. He enjoyed watching all his movies and loved muscle cars.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
