Obituary for JoAnn Feucht
JoAnn W. Feucht, 86, of Peoria passed away Sunday December 23, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born December 14, 1932 in Peoria; her adopted parents were James and Thelma Poppen Wherry. She married Chris Feucht November 9, 1963; he preceded her in death October 16, 2004. Her parents and aunt, Alma Stone who raised her also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Laurie (Lawrence) Crossett, Lynda Petri, Ardeane (Gary) Ruckle; grandchildren, Matthew, David, Jenniffer, Allison, Vanessa and eleven great-grandchildren. JoAnn loved her family and her dogs. Her faith was important to her throughout her life. She was a member and volunteer at First Federated Church. She attended Bradley University and was a member of GAMMA PHI BETA Sorority. JoAnn was employed over 25 years by the Peoria Journal Star. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at First Federated Church 3601 N. Sheridan Road, Peoria, IL 61604. Memorials may be made to her church or PAWS in her name.
