Douglas G. Winkler, 64, of Peoria passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020 at his residence.
He was born September 24, 1955 in St. Louis, MO to Walter and Norma Simcox Winkler. His parents; brother, Daniel Winkler and sister, Julianna Fischer preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Lauren L. (fiancée, Brian Zilch) Winkler, Brian D. Winkler; their mother, Janet Winkler; grandchildren, Tyler, Jack and Natalie Snyder and siblings, Bruce Winkler, Phil Winkler and Betty Ann Pekar.
Douglas worked as an X-Ray Tech for Barnes-Jewish Hospital until retiring in 2010. He loved his family. He enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing, a cold Bud Light and watching the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues play. He was an avid reader and loved his occasional conspiracy theory.
Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
