Charles Edward Denham Sr. 65 of Minier passed away on Thursday December 22, 2016 at his home. Born in Tompkinsville, KY on March 20, 1951 to Homer and Virgie Allen Denham. He is survived by his sons: Charles E. (Jennifer) Denham Jr. of McLean, IL, Chad (Virginia) Denham of Armington, IL, brothers: Ralph (Bonnie) Denham and Randall Denham both of Minier, Rondal Denham of Stanford, IL, granddaughters: Hillary (Travis) McDannald and April Denham both of Armington and many nieces and nephews. His parents and several sisters and brothers preceded him in death. Charles served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer with the 20th Engineer Battalion as a SP4 rank with 2 overseas bars, The Vietnam Service Medal, The Vietnam Combat Medal with '60 device. Served in Vietnam assigned in the An Khe district of central Vietnam.
