Obituary for Edward M. Schooler Jr.
Edward M. Schooler Jr. (Ed) of Pekin, IL passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the young age of 35 from a rupture of aortic valve in his heart .
Ed Jr. was born on November 11th, 1980, in Long Beach California to Edward Sr. and Linda (Smith) Schooler. He grew up in Marengo, IL being raised by his mother and stepfather, along with his brother, and sisters: Kendrick, Melissa, & Amber.
He also spent part of his teenage years living in Las Vegas, NV with his father and stepmother. He eventually ended up back in Peoria where he began his own family(s). Ed has 2 wonderful boys, David and Shawn. He really enjoyed spending time with them when he could. They enjoyed just being able to hang out together, whether it was taking Shawn to the park for “Park Time!!”, taking David to a baseball game, or just sitting at home being together. He loved his boys with all his heart. He is very sorry that he had to leave them so soon, and that he will not be able to see them grow up into the fine young men that he knows they will become.
