Byron Eugene Walker 49, of East Peoria passed away on Wednesday July 16, 2008 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Peoria on June 3, 1959 to Delbert and Martha Clemons Walker. He is survived by his mother and

step-father Martha “Marti” (Don) Brooks of East Peoria, children: Daniel Skaggs of Bartonville, Brandon (Amanda) Walker of Nalor, MO, Amy Walker of Jonesburg, MO, brothers: Dennis Walker of East Peoria, Tony (Allison) Walker of Pekin, Steve (Kelly) Walker of Peoria, sisters: Kimberly Braman of Aurora, CO, Crystal (Rob) Gama-Stidham Prahal of Elmwood and his 3 grandchildren. His father preceded him in death. Byron attended East Peoria High School and served in the Army. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. Cremation rights have been accorded. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
