Obituary for Elizabeth M. Schlyer
Elizabeth M. Schlyer 89, of Pekin passed away on Friday January 9, 2009 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Roundup, MT on April 8, 1919 to Clarence and Agnes Bohn Harrison. She married Kenneth Doering and later married Richard Schlyer both preceding her in death, along with one daughter. Elizabeth is survived by her son Charles (Sharon) Doering of Gamaliel AR, daughter Debbie (Terry) Wilson of Iowa, formally of Peoria and her 7 grand, 4 great grand and 2 great great grandchildren. She worked for Beamis Bag Company for 29 years and was a volunteer at the Red Cross. Cremation has been accorded and burial of cremains will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Abts Mortuary.
