Obituary for Joan Percefull
Joan E. Percefull 81, of Pekin passed away Tuesday November 16, 2010 at Pekin Manor. She was born January 1, 1929 in Pekin to John and Ethel Genda Helman. She married Richard F. Percefull on April 12, 1947 in Peoria. He preceded her in death August 1, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister; Lois Hutchison. She is survived by her children; David (Carol) Percefull of Lafayette, IN, LaVerne (Rodney) Robb of Lincoln, Scott (Pam) Percefull of Pekin, Beth Ann (Michael) Jones of St. Peters, MO, Ted (Jenn Rettke) Percefull of Pekin, Siblings; Betty Maquet of Pekin, Lorraine (Bill) Comstock of Pekin and John (Deanie) Helman of Pekin. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Heather, Amy, Kyle, Brett, Sherri, Mandee, Katie, Austin, Brandon, Emily, Matthew, Benjamin, Jake, Olivia, Lainee, Lacee, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Joan was a homemaker and a mom to everyone. Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held Saturday November 20, 2010 at Glendale Memorial Gardens at 11:30am with a Celebration of life to follow at the Pekin Moose Lodge from 1pm to 4pm. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Joan’s great-nephew Tyler Sullivan’s memorial fund c/o CEFCU.
