Obituary for Donald Norris
Donald A. Norris, 69, of Peoria passed away at 10:50 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born November 30, 1942 in Peoria to Miles and Nellie (Allan) Norris. They preceded him in death. His sister Nancy Queen survives. Also surviving is his daughter from his first marriage, Patrice Morrison of Peoria. He married Lois Norris (Thompson) in 1977 and they divorced in 1991. She survives as do their children, Kimberly Hlavin of Chicago, Lucas Norris of West Peoria, and Matthew Norris of Chicago, along with his grandchildren, Ashlyn and Brooklyn Norris of West Peoria, and John Patrick Hlavin of Chicago. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28 at Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Rev. Tom Henseler will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memorial of Donald A.
