Mary McCoy, 95, of 306 Woodland Pekin, died Thursday June 6, 2013 at Pekin Manor. Born November 29, 1917, in Pekin to James and Anna Kantor Fitzanko, she married Lee McCoy on September 2, 1939 in Pekin. He died July 23, 1993. She was preceeded in death by five brothers and one sister.
She was a World War II Army veteran

She worked at the American Distillery for 42 years before retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Council of Catholic Women. She was a past president of the Tazwell County Ladies Home Extension. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at her church. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Abts Mortuary. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery
