Obituary for Dorothy Ann Phillips
Dorothy Phillips 63, of Pekin born 3/28/1950, the daughter of James and Orpha Pollard. Lost her battle with brain cancer at 6:48 am July 25, 2013 in her home.
Surviving are her husband William Phillips whom she journeyed through life with since their marriage on 10/15/76 it was extremely rare for them to be seen apart on any given day.
Also her 3 sons James and (Stephanie Buselmeier) Phillips of Clinton Il. Chris and (Becky Siltman) Phillips of Manito and Tracy and (Tina Troxell) Phillips of Pekin Il. 9 grandchildren James, Cody, Brenna, Brittany, Micheala, Zack, Brandon, Kaylee, and Micheal.
One Great Grandchild Hunter.
One sister Wilma Lubkeher of Florida. Dorothy worked at Pekin Municipal Bus Barn as a bus driver for many years, after which she enjoined camping, computers, and riding her ATV on Cloud 9 ranch, and being with her family including her beloved 3 dogs Hope, Shasta and Trixie.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and one sister Norma k Schertz. Cremation has been accorded.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Glendale Memorial Gardens from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday July 29th for family and close friends.
