Obituary for Wilma Leonard
Wilma Ruth Leonard, 89, of Peoria formerly of Glasford passed away Tuesday February 7, 2012 at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria. She was born April 25, 1922 in Sorento, IL to Dewey and Mae Trobaugh Lindley. She married Dale Leonard in 1949 in Piggott, AR. He preceded her in death June 6, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Barbara Scott. She is survived by her son, Roger Leonard of Pekin; sisters, Ina Kaldi of Pekin and Donna Day of Hanna, WY. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wilma was a homemaker. She was a member of Glasford Baptist Church and American Legion Auxiliary in Glasford. Cremation has been accorded and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to TAPS in her name.
