Obituary for Willis J. David
Willis J. David, 86, of Peoria passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
He was born March 18, 1938, in Peoria to James C. and Elizabeth Jane French David.
He married Patricia Ruth Cisco; she preceded him in death November 3, 2017. His parents; eight sisters and eight brothers also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Brian David, Lori David, Tony (Tammy) Hibser, Jim (Wendi) Hibser, Anna Marie (Danny) Henry, Kelli (Todd) Landon; grandchildren, Jenelle, Jordan, Austin, Chelsea, Taylor, Baylee, Ashlyn, Logan; great-grandchild, Piper and brother, LeRoy Paul David.
Willis worked in the heating and air conditioning industry, retiring in 2014.
He loved his family. He also loved going to stock car races and playing the slots. He enjoyed riding the motorcycle and listening to country music. He was a huge animal lover. Willis never knew a stranger.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on April 27, 2024, at 2 p.m. at BG Karaoke Saloon, 4202 West Pfeiffer Road, Bartonville, Illinois 61607.
