Obituary for William W. Patterson
William W. Patterson 84, of Morton passed away on Saturday January 3, 2009 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Chicago to James and Esther Malquist Patterson on December 1, 1924. He married Beverly J. Smith in Las Vegas on May 31, 1964, she preceded him in death on February 27, 2005. He is survived by his son William I. Patterson of Morton, sisters Nancy (Jim) Smith and Viola (Tom) Hill both of Indianapolis, IN and his several nieces and nephews. William served in the Army O.S.S. during WWII and was an Advertising Executive at Mace Advertising for 15 years, retiring in 1983. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Saturday January 10, at 1 p.m. at the Advent Lutheran Church in Morton. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
