Obituary for William P. Hill
William “Bill” Patrick Hill, 63, of Pekin passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 1, 1954 in Peoria to William and Patricia Keller Hill. He married Ronda Camden October 15, 1994; she survives. He is also survived by his daughters, Erin Hill, Sara (Josh) Lindahl; grandchildren, Eli, Zoe, Eden and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jamie and brother, Tom “TJ”. Bill worked for the City of Pekin retiring in 2008. He was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin and the Knights of Columbus. He loved his grandchildren, they were the light of his day. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. Private burial will be held at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to TAPS in his name.
