Obituary for William Lasley
William Harrison Lasley, 44, of South Pekin passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born August 25, 1969 in Pekin to William Joseph and Jane Ann Schurman Lasley. He is survived by his parents of South Pekin; sister, Tammy (Kevin) Lasley-Taylor; brother, Kenneth Lasley and aunts and uncles, Roy Lasley, Viola Randalph-Lasley, Glenna Schurman-Sapp, David (Wilma) Schurman, Robert (Wanda) Schurman, Roberta (Howard) Schurman-Dunham. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Freda Lasley, Flexis Lasley, Della Schurman, Clarence Schurman and aunts and uncles, Delbert Lasley, Larry Lasley, Clifford Lasley, Dick (Sally) Lasley, William (Kathern) Lasley, Norma (Jim) Bosley-Lasley, Jim Schurman, Willard Schurman, Chuck Schurman, Ruth Schurman, John Schurman and Richard Schurman. William was a stay at home person, but loved to travel through the Travel and Explore Channel. He loved horse racing and family cook outs. He rang bells for the Salvation Army at Christmas time. He last worked at SC2 in East Peoria. He also liked to camp with his friends and family. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
