Obituary for William Emerson Maquet
William Emerson Maquet 83, of Pekin passed away on July 8, 2008 at Pekin Hospital after an extended illness. A private family memorial service was held on Sunday Aug 10, at St. Paul Episcopal Church and inurnment of cremains was at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Father Brian Kellington preformed the service. His body was donated to the Anatomy Gift Registry of Maryland. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Sara Jean (Lewis) Maquet, three children: Pamela Maquet, Jeanne Smith, and Bill (Linda) Maquet, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He also leaves one sister, Elaine Posever of Massachusetts. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. assisted the family with arrangements.
