Obituary for William David Hanson
David Hanson 55, of South Pekin passed away on Thursday May 1, 2008 at Pekin hospital. Born in Dubuque, IA on Sept 26, 1952 to William and Vivian Garrett Hanson. He married Eugenie Schindler in Pekin on February 15, 1973, she survives along with his daughters Krysta David and Kara Hanson, grandsons Trevyn Thomas and Brendyn Hanson all of South Pekin and brother Richard Hanson of Pekin. His parents preceded him in death. David worked for R.K. Dixon as an Electronic Technician and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial mass will be held at his church on Saturday May 10th at 10 a.m. Father Pat Fixsen will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the New Attitudes M. C. Club at 8424 W. Wheeler Rd. in Mapleton with a wake service at 7 p.m.. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hanson Memorial fund at CEFCU. Abts Mortuary has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. On-line condolences may be made at abtsmortuary.com
