Obituary for William D. Lindsey Jr.
William D. Lindsey Jr., 85, of Minier, IL formerly of North Carolina passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, at Pekin Manor in Pekin, IL.
He was born March 18, 1938, in Hendersonville, NC to William D. and Thelma Lindsey Sr.
He married Thomas Edney July 21, 1959, in Hendersonville, NC; she preceded him in death May 26, 2023. His parents and son, William T. Lindsey also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Samuel “Chad” (Mindy) Lindsey.
William was proud to be a dedicated employee of Henderson Oil Company for 57 years.
He loved his wife and cared for her. He also loved his family and doing projects. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and watersports.
Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
