Obituary for Wilbur L. Rose
Wilbur L Rose 81, of Pekin passed away on Saturday September 12, 2009 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Born in Washington, IN on May 28, 1928 to Clark and Nona Arnold Rose. He married Billie Adair Dedman on August 18, 1953. She preceded him in death on July 7, 1999. His parents 9 brothers and his daughter Lori Lusk also preceded him in death. Wilbur is survived by his children; Donald (Gayle) Rose of Neosho, MO, Sherri (David) Bradle of Peoria, Janet (Ron) Potts of Pekin, Ronna (Ron) Funcannon of Metamora, Chrissy (Ralph) Moore of Excelsior Springs, MO, Debbie (Jim) Glover of Okeechobee, FL and his 14 grand and 6 great grandchildren. Wilbur served in the U.S. Army and worked in construction. Cremation has been accorded and graveside services will be held in Neosho, MO at a later date. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
