Obituary for Wanda Preston
Wanda June Preston, 80, of Creve Coeur passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born December 25, 1937 in Spaulding to Clifford and Helen Dambacher Castleman. She was previously married to Robert Robison and John Clement. She later married Richard M. Preston October 27, 1990 in Springfield; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Sandy (Kirk) Hoog, Robert Leon (Ellen) Robison, Denise Holmes, Rodney (Bobbi) Robison, Robin Robison, Jason (Angela) Clement; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Gene (Barb) Castleman and sister-in-law, Nancy Castleman. Her parents; infant sister and brother, Clifford Wayne Castleman preceded her in death. Wanda worked for Kmart, retiring in 1998. She was a member of Fellowship Community Baptist Church. Wanda spent her whole life caring for her children and grandchildren. Everyone that met her enjoyed her and left with a smile, she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the VFW in Washington from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her name.
