Obituary for Ves Parker Taylor
Ves Parker Taylor 66, of Delavan formerly of Cedar Key, FL passed away on Sunday February 28, 2010 at her residence. Born in Tampa, FL on August 5, 1943 to Robert and June Parker Boring. She married Terry P. Taylor in Arcadia, FL on December 3, 1967. He survives along with her children: Jill Carrie Taylor of Cedar Key, Luke Parker (Karen) Taylor of Delavan, grandchildren Amie and Kelsie Taylor of Delavan, brother Guerry (Betty) Parker of Mount Dora, FL and sister Austin (John) Mika of Tallahassee, FL. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death. Ves was a Homemaker and Artist. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Cedar Key where she also served as Chaplain. Cremation has been accorded and private services will be held in Cedar Key at a later date. Memorials maybe made in her name to OSF Hospice. Abts Mortuary in Pekin has been entrusted with her arrangements.
