Obituary for Valerie Jean (Buhl) Irwin
Valerie Jean (Buhl) Irwin, 67, of Manito passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Carle Health Methodist in Peoria, with her family by her side.
She was born February 24, 1957, in Peoria to John William Sr. and Viola Bernadine Mosher Buhl; who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her oldest son Larry Gene Buhl and one brother Melvin B. Mosher.
She leaves behind her daughter, Connie (Jeffery) Robinson of Manito, her son Bill (Nicole) Stutler of Peoria; her grandchildren who she loved dearly, Jaxson, Tyler, Austin, Dominick, Kylie, and Darrin; one sister Sandy (Mike) Sheckler of Peoria, brothers Russ (Leslie) Buhl of Peoria, and John (Kristy) Buhl Jr. of Eldridge, IA.
She loved being with her family as much as possible but most of all spending time with her grandchildren, and she will be greatly missed.
Cremation has been accorded and a private family burial will be held at Cottonwood Cemetery in Edwards, IL. A Celebration of Life will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Edwards Tap in Edwards, IL.
