Obituary for Troy Allen Michaels
Troy Allen Michaels, 61, of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at OSF Transitional Care Hospital in Peoria.
He was born August 29, 1962, in Jacksonville to James F. and Joyce M. Workman Michaels. His parents; sister, April Jockisch; son, Christopher Michaels and several other relatives and friends preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Melinda Young, Troy Michaels Jr.; companion, Phyllis Reynolds; sisters, Kimberly Dowson, Dorothy Anderson and grandchildren, Christian, Braden, Caden, Damico, Drake and Charlotte.
Troy loved the outdoors and spending time with friends and family, playing pool and going to the movies.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
