Obituary for Tony Whitehurst II
Tony E. Whitehurst II 42, of Peoria passed away on October 24, 2010 at his home. Born in Little Rock, AR to Tony E. and Paula King Whitehurst I on January 30, 1968. He is survived by his father of Peoria, siblings: Clu (Shelly) Castros of Harrisburg, Penny Castros of Evansville, IN, Lisa (David) Essary of Broughton, Kande Castros of Evansvill, IN, Wesley Castros of Creve Coeur, Cynthia (Donald) Hampton of Pekin and numerous nieces and nephews. His grandparents and mother preceded him in death. Tony worked for the Yellow Cab Co. in Peoria for 10 years and was a NASCAR, Cardinals and Cowboys fan. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at the First Assembly of God Church, 1209 Parkway Dr. Pekin on Saturday November 6, at 3 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been setup at CEFCU in Tony’s name.
