Obituary for Thomas R. Tracy
Thomas R. Tracy, 64, of East Peoria passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home Peoria.
He was born June 23, 1959, in Peoria to Kenneth and Jewel Estes Tracy Sr. His parents and brother, Kenneth Tracy Jr. preceded him in death.
He married Darlene S. Champion on August 23, 2013, she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Jackie (David) Colburn; stepchildren, Tonya Aldridge, Nicholas (Dawn) Aldridge; grandchildren, Derrick Stein, Brandon Stein, Owen Stein, Madison Colburn, Ashley (Mike) Shearburn, Brandon Pate, Tristan Gonzalez, Oliver Gonzalez, Carter Aldridge, Mackenzie Aldridge, Owen Aldridge; seven greatgrandchildren and siblings, Anita (Adam) Tonti, Rosalee (Ron) Verry and Saari Block.
Thomas served in the U.S. Army and worked as a truck driver, retiring September 19, 2022.
He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, lawn work, gardening and decorating for Christmas. He loved fishing trips to Minnesota, his job and cooking.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
