Obituary for Thomas A. Wood Jr.
Thomas A. Wood Jr., 33, of Creve Coeur passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born December 14, 1990, in Pekin to Thomas A. and Theresa Wells Wood Sr. His father; one infant brother; paternal grandmother, Sharon Petree and paternal step-grandfather, Larry Petree preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother; brothers, Dustin (Amanda) Russell, Dylan Russell; paternal grandfather, Tommy Wood; maternal grandfather, LeRoy Copher; maternal grandmother, Paula Wells; aunts and uncles, Carl (Brandy) Wells, Barb (Todd) Beecham, Timothy Wood and many cousins and good friends.
Thomas worked at Larry’ Driftwood for 18 years.
He loved his Camaro and his dog and fur baby, Trappy. He also loved to fish, playing video poker, video games and being outdoors. He enjoyed shooting pool and a cold beer. He loved to shop for a new pair of Jordan’s and cooking.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Larry’s Driftwood in Creve Coeur.
