Theda A. Fortier, 80, of Creve Coeur passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.
She was born November 22, 1941, in Urbana to Charles and Ruth Hawk Glenn.
She married Floyd Fortier; he preceded her in death in 2008. Her parents; stepson, Greg Fortier and brother, Donald Glenn also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, David (Jennifer) Fortier, Todd (Michelle) Fortier, Carol (Craig) McCloud, Stephanie Fortier; grandchildren, Reese, Eli, Brevin, Aspen, Aiden, Aaron; greatgrandchild, Oliver and siblings, Peggy (Larry) Merrick and Carol Roberts.
Theda worked for the Department of Defense retiring in 2018.
Theda loved her family. She enjoyed gardening, reading and her Thanksgiving Dinners. She loved to travel to New Hampshire.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
