Obituary for Terry Lee Stewart Sr.
Terry Lee Stewart Sr. 55 of Peoria passed away at his home on Thursday November 19, 2009. He was born August 5, 1954 in Akron, OH to John David Stewart and Jean Thompson. He married Sandra Paul in 1972. He spent the rest of his life with Phyllis Kiefer. He spent many years working for Pepsi Cola and many years managing gas stations. He loved bowling, fishing, taking walks along the river, the Cardinals and his races. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis and one grandson. Surviving are his 3 sons; Gregg (Shannon) Stewart, Scott (Angela) Stewart, Terry Lee Stewart Jr., 2 daughters: Misty (Lewis) Clay and Tabitha Stewart, “We love you Dad”, 3 brothers: Robert Steven (Joyce) Stewart, Jimmy Stewart and David Stewart, many grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is Billy (Cari) Bolen Sr. who Terry treated as a son. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Monday November 30, at 11 a.m. at the Dayton Ave Baptist Church in Peoria Heights. A memorial fund has been setup at the CEFCU on Airport Rd. to help with funeral expenses. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
