Obituary for Ted Raistrick
Ted Richard Raistrick, 53, of Canton passed away Saturday June 16, 2012 at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born July 30, 1958 in Peoria to Thomas and Betty Payne Raistrick. He married Janet L. Lewis June 20, 1991 in Peoria. She survives along with his mother, Betty Jones of Idaho; children, Bryan Raistrick of Canton, Jami (Mike) Darling of Bellevue, Sunshine Raistrick of Canton, John Raistrick of Canton; siblings, Mike (Betty) Raistrick of Idaho, Pam (Doug) Turner of Illinois, Cookie (Terry) Raistrick of Illinois, Tim Raistrick of California and Debbie (Virgil) Jones of Illinois. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his special friend/brother, Rusty Garrett. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Raistrick and brother, Patrick Raistrick. Ted served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a delivery driver for Better Beverage in Pekin for 15 years. Visitation will be held Thursday June 21, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin with cremation following. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for his children’s college funds.
