Tammy L. Godsey, 64, of Kingston Mines passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Accolade Healthcare of East Peoria.
She was born August 19, 1959, in Pekin to Billie Charles and Elissa Lorene Parnell Underwood.
She married Quintion Godsey I; he preceded her in death January 5, 2015. Her son, Eric Brice Underwood and parents also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, Quintion “Q” (fiancée, Cathy Eddy) Godsey II, Joshua (Holly Kettle) Godsey; grandchildren, Elizabeth H. Godsey, Kailey A. Godsey, Joshua Q. Godsey, Ella K. Godsey, Levi A. Godsey, Caleb Schroer, Cayden Violette; greatgrandchild, Levi Godsey; devoted companion, Dan Grammatico; niece, Tennia Conkling and siblings, Becky (Leonard) Bobbitt, Phillip (JoAnn) Underwood and Kimberly (Dan) Eye.
Tammy worked as a housekeeping supervisor for the hospital.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to the lake every summer and collecting jewelry. She enjoyed listening to music. Everyone who knew her loved her and she never knew a stranger.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, starting at 1 p.m. at Glen Oak Lagoon at Glen Oak Park.
