Sylvia Jean May, 72, of Peoria passed away Monday, December 16, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born July 15, 1952, in Tacoma, WA to Robert and Marguerite Casaday Wiley.
She married Gerald May; he preceded her in death in 2004. Her children, Stephanie Armstrong, Bonnie Yager and Gerald E. May II also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Christopher (Megan) May; grandchildren, William Armstrong, Jeremy Walton, Alyssa Walton, Carmen Walton, Aaron Walton, Jade Bunker, Zachary Bunker, Harley Bunker, Gregory Edwards; four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Cremation has been accorded and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
