Obituary for Susan Sarver
Susan Sarver, 73, of Peoria passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 12, 1943 in Little Rock, AR. She married William Sarver June 5, 1992 in Groveland; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Stephanie Thornhill, Donald Wayne Harry Abney Jr., Teresa Abney, Timothy Abney; grandchildren, Shealynn Schoon, Robert Thornhill, Shavaughn Halihan, Amanda Sellers, Tammy Farris, Angela Adams and several great-grandchildren. Her parents; daughter, Alesia Marie Adams and son, Randy Allen Adams preceded her in death. Susan was very proud of being Cherokee Indian. She worked in nursing and owned the Thrift Store in Creve Coeur. She was a great lady, my mother and my wife loved everyone and never met a stranger. She was a huge animal lover and was our best friend. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mel’s Diner 520 Bloomington Road in East Peoria. Memorial donations may be made to William.
