Obituary for Steven James Whitmer
Steven James Whitmer, 55, of Manito, IL passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, at his residence.
He was born July 20, 1968, in Canton, IL to Clyde Dwayne and Brenda Sue Bushnell Whitmer. His parents; grandparents and nephew, Seth Whitmer preceded him in death.
He is survived by his siblings, Susan (Mark) Wang of Griffin, GA, Tony Whitmer of Avon, IL, Julie Schisler of Avon, IL, Robert Whitmer of Carthage, MO, Jennie (John) Alt of Springfield, IL and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Steven worked as a cosmetologist.
Steven loved his horses and belonged to Illinois Walking Horse Association.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
