Obituary for Staci Gerrietts
Staci L. Gerrietts, 45, of Pekin passed away Thursday, November 22, 2013 at Timbercreek Rehab Center in Pekin. She was born June 18, 1968 in Pekin to Elbert and Beverly Everett Stevens. She married Scott Gerrietts March 1, 1991 in Pekin, he preceded her in death March 2, 2013. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother. She is survived by her sons, Zachary Gerrietts of Pekin, Ryan Gerrietts of Pekin; parents of Pekin; sister, Jodi Stevens of Peoria Heights; brothers, Mark Stevens of Spring Lake, Shawn (Kimberly) Stevens of Green Valley and several nephews and one niece. She is also survived by her dogs, Sammy, Flossy and Phoebe. Staci worked for Bethel Lutheran School in Morton for 5 years. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. She loved her sons very much and will be missed greatly by her family. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to TAPS in her name.
