Obituary for Shirley Probus
Shirley Ann Probus, 87, of Forest City passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at Hopedale Nursing Home.
She was born January 26, 1933 in Manito to Glen and Maggie Boyer Tackman Sr.
She married Gordon W. Probus August 2, 1972 in Bloomington; he preceded her in death March 17, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin Tackman, Glen Tackman Jr. and sister, Mary Tackman McKee.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was a devoted member of Good Shepard Baptist Church where she enjoyed attending worship. She was a lifelong resident of the Forest City and Manito area.
Per her wishes cremation has been accorded and private services will be held.
