Sherry L. Simmons, 64, of Peoria passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at her residence.
She was born May 9, 1956 in Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bobby and “Tony” Young and sister, Tammy Young.
She is survived by one child, Casey Simmons; grandchildren, Alexandria Dowds, Storm Larson; great-grandchild, Ace Archdale; siblings, Bobby Young, Randall Young, Johnny Kirkman and nieces and nephew, Nikki Kirkman, Libbie Kirkman, Josh Young and Brandi Young.
Sherry worked for OSF Health Care retiring in 2020.
She loved her family and was always putting everyone else first, she was a very caring person. She loved her great-grandson, Ace who kept her going. She enjoyed traveling and dancing in her younger years. She loved her TV shows especially Big Brother and Survivor.
Cremation has been accorded and family services will be held at a later date in Henderson, TN.
