Obituary for Sheila "Kay" Reagan
Sheila “Kay” Reagan, 75, of Pekin passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.
She was born April 15, 1947, in Pekin to Loel “Wimpy” and Rose Marion Green. Her parents; brother, Steven Green and granddaughter, Kristin Nicole Dunniway preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie (Tom) Dunniway, Kitty (Troy) Byrd; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Gerald “Butch” (Diane) Green, Bill (Jeanie) Green; sisters, Jean Gensel, Linda (Paul) Ranney; sister-in-law, Dawn Green and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kay loved painting, camping and canoeing on the Current River, racing dune buggies in her younger years, but most of all she loved gathering with her family and friends. She never knew a stranger and if you were her friend, she considered you family.
Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate, Gift of Hope or American Cancer Society in her name.
