Obituary for Shannon L. Lewis
Shannon L. Lewis, 64, of Pekin passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, at her residence.
She was born September 16, 1960, in Pekin to William and Dorothy Meyer Hurt. Her parents preceded her in death.
Shannon married Luther “Vern” Vernon Lewis on September 16, 1999, in Pekin; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Anthony (Ann Marie) Lewis, Zachary (Jen) Rynerson, Holly (Nick) Durm; grandchildren, Aryan, Toney, Allie Beth, Amara, Eleanor, Benjamin, Avery; siblings, Sharon Hanson, William (Janet) Hurt, Karen (Jim) McKean and many nieces and nephews.
She worked for Podiatry Arts Lab for 42 years retiring in 2023.
Shannon was a devoted grandmother. She was a member of Shepherd’s Chapel Church in Gravette, AR.
Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held at this time.
