Obituary for Scott Alan Beecham
Scott Alan Beecham, 60, of Glasford passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 11:50 a.m. after a three year battle with cancer. He was born on February 28, 1954 to Clarence Jr. and Roberta Beecham; both preceded him in death. He married Kelly Baker, and they had three children, Amy, Jenni and Ryan Beecham all of Glasford. He spent thirteen years with his girl and “buddy”, Anna Rudd. Together they enjoyed spending time with all twelve of their grandbabies. He was a father figure to her three girls, Stephanie McCarthy, Nancy Applen and Kathryn (Brandon) Hursh all of Glasford. Also surviving are three brothers; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Scott spent his working years at Caterpillar, the Santa Fe Railroad Co., and TP&W Railroad Co. He enjoyed hunting with the guys, Todd, Jackie, Mike, Terry and Ryan. He also liked cruising with Weber. So many will miss him! Cremation rights have been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Kingston Mines United Methodist Church. A meal will follow the service in the basement of the church. Memorials may be made to the family c/o Glasford Bank.
