Obituary for Sarah Johnson
Sarah Jean Johnson, 44, of Rock Island passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born February 7, 1976 in Mundelein to Michael Edward and Carolyn S. Scheel Johnson. Her father preceded her in death.
She is survived by her mother and several aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted friends.
Sarah worked as a horse trainer, she loved to teach, train and coach horse back riding and jumping. She was a member of the Illinois Hunter & Jumper Association. Sarah had a great sense of humor and a great smile “that went wall to wall”. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
