Obituary for Sandra "Sandy" K. Meyers
Sandra “Sandy” K. Meyers 66, of Bartonville passed away on Thursday July 3, 2008 at Methodist Hospital in Peoria. Born in Peoria on April 29, 1942 to John and Helen Pletke Durham. Sandy married Charles Meyers in East Peoria on Dec 31, 1965, he preceded her in death on Sept 5, 1986 along with her parents, a stepson, 2 sisters and a nephew. She is survived by her son Tracy (Taylor) Meyers of Bartonville, sisters: Margaret (Charlie) Franklin and Shirley Solomon both of Pekin, step-daughter Connie Howell of East Peoria, several nieces and nephews and her 1 grand and 1 great grandchild. Sandy was a homemaker. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday July 9, at 2 p.m. at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Arrangements have been entrusted to Abts Mortuary in Pekin.
