Sandra S. Schmit, 78, of Morton passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.
She was born July 13, 1941 in Peoria to John and Susan Pellegrini Murray.
She married Jerome R. Schmit; he preceded her in death in 1988. Her parents and brother, James Murray also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Marvin (Kimberly) Schmit, Deborah (Timothy) Livezey, Michael (Amy) Schmit, Mark (Meghan) Schmit; grandchildren, Margarette, Melanie, Christopher, Kyle, Alex, Allison, Austin, Brandon and siblings, John Murray, and Barb Glass.
Sandra loved her family. She enjoyed her crafts, reading, watching TV and she loved her animals. Sandra lived a simple life.
Cremation has been accorded and a memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date.
